A Welsh development duo are hoping to bring Mayfair-style offices to Cardiff city centre.
Retail specialist Andy Giles and partner Richard Williams are due to deliver 10, 000 sq ft over three floors at 18-19 Park Place in the Welsh capital.
They are targeting rents of £20 per sq ft for the boutique suites. Current rents achieved in the area are around £16 per sq ft.
Giles said: “We are aiming at the top end of the market but we believe our occupancy costs will stand up. Terms are shortening and incentives are growing but we believe tenants will be able to see the value gain when they look at overall occupancy costs. “
Cooke and Arkwright and Savills are agents on the scheme.
