Charles Partridge, director in Lambert Smith Hampton’s rating division, has died aged 67.
Partridge passed away in hospital on 2 December. His career in real estate spanned more than 40 years, and included positions at LSH and its predecessors Herring Daw, Herring Son & Daw and Herring Baker Harris.
He also contributed many articles to Estates Gazette over his long career.
His service to the surveying industry received formal recognition when he was awarded an MBE in the 2009 New Years Honours list.
Ezra Nahome, chief executive of LSH, said: “On behalf of everybody at LSH, I would like to extend our sincere condolences to Charles’ family and friends at this very sad time. He will be greatly missed.”
