Former Anglo Irish Bank chairman Sean FitzPatrick has been arrested and released without charge in connection with a fraud investigation.
Loans to directors of the bank which fuelled the Irish property boom, and a €7bn (£6bn) deposit transfer between Anglo and the Irish Life & Permanent building society, are under the scrutiny of the Garda bureau of fraud investigation.
