Liverpool council has resolved to grant consent to plans by the Peel Group and Barratt Homes for a housing scheme on land at Speke, close to Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
The joint venture partners plan to build 268 homes off Speke Hall Avenue. The scheme is expected to start on-site in early 2012.
In July, Peel and Barratt formed a partnership that could deliver 1,000 homes on six sites across the North West, totalling 80 acres.
