Highcross scores new tenants

Hammerson and Royal Mail Pension Plan have agreed a raft of lettings at their Highcross mall in Leicester.

 

North Face is taking 2,760 sq ft for what will be its first standalone shop in the city, and independent menswear boutique Luke 1977 is taking a 2,180 sq ft shop.

 

Entertainment brand Sony has opened its first branch in Leicester, with a 1,680 sq ft shop, fine art stockist Whitewall Galleries has taken 1,720 sq ft, Build A Bear has taken 2,760 sq ft of space and Greggs has agreed to take 900 sq ft.

 

Sheila King, Hammerson’s director group retail leasing, said: “These new brands provide real strength in depth across our retail mix at Highcross, offering specialist fashion retailing, high end entertainment and fine art to our consumers.”
