Regional developer Linden Homes has made land acquisitions totalling £11m in the north of England.
The sites in Yorkshire, Leeds and Nottinghamshire, many of which are subject to planning permission, have been earmarked for a total of 274 new homes.
Hull-based Linden Homes said they all meet demand for quality housing at affordable prices.
The proposed developments include:
– Methley near Leeds: site secured subject to planning permission for 12 three, four and five-bedroom homes.
– Riccall, North Yorkshire: planning permission being sought for small development of 13 two- to five-bedroom homes.
– Retford, Nottinghamshire: planning permission being sought for 28 two- and four-bedroom homes.
– York: 32 two- and three-bedroom homes, subject to planning permission, with convenience store and vets.
Linden Homes sales director Steve Woomble said: “This is a huge positive for us as a company, but also for the house buying public – particularly in the areas where land has been acquired, which builds on our existing reputation.”
