Hertfordshire county council has awarded Lambert Smith Hampton a contract renewal to provide it with property management services.
The five-year contract will see the agent be responsible for planning, advice, sales and valuations of the council’s 850-strong property portfolio.
Chris Parkes, director in LSH’s public sector advisory team, and lead consultant to the council, said: “To be awarded this latest contract allows us to continue delivering benefits to the council and driving down the operational costs of its property assets.”
LSH and the council have worked together since 2003, delivering in excess of £150m in capital receipts, and reducing outgoings by £1m per year.
