Cath Kidston is to open its first standalone store in Aberdeen at Hammerson’s Union Square shopping centre.
The vintage-inspired brand signed a deal with Hammerson this morning to open a 2,085 sq ft full-line store. The new shop will open on 29 March.
The brand already has stores in Edinburgh and Glasgow and chose Aberdeen to expand its offering to Scottish shoppers due to the city’s attractive micro-economy.
Chris Mckendrick, commercial director for Cath Kidston, said: “Union Square will bring a fantastic retail opportunity with a captive audience, giving us the opportunity to reach a new customer base.”
CBRE and Culverwell acted on behalf of Hammerson. CBRE also advised Cath Kidston.
