A Soho private members’ club that played host to some of the silver screen’s top actors and one of politics’ biggest scandals is up for sale.
King of Clubs Patrice Gouty is seeking to offload his lease for the 1,100 sq ft Kingly Club, just off Golden Square, W1, to focus on his overseas businesses.
A premium of £500,000 is being sought for the lease, which expires in 2023. The passing rent is £52,500 pa.
The Kingly Club was formerly the Pinstripe Club, which hosted the likes of Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn (pictured) and was shut down as a result of the John Profumo/Christine Keeler affair. Davis Coffer Lyons is advising.
