Australian rugby legend and former Prestbury Investments asset manager, Michael Lynagh is in hospital after suffering a stroke.
The 48-year-old former Wallabies and Saracens fly-half has been admitted to a Brisbane hospital with blood clots on his brain.
As well as being a sports star and sports television pundit, Lynagh is also a well-respected figure in the property industry. He has done stints at CBRE in Australia, and Prestbury and Allco in the UK, working mostly as a senior asset manager.
Nick Leslau, co-owner of Saracens Rugby Club and owner of Prestbury, said: “Michael is an iconic character in the world of rugby and a largely popular face in the property industry, and a good friend. I and others, would like to wish him a speedy recovery, and our thoughts are with his family.”
