Universities Superannuation Scheme’s plans for a £7m revamp of the Croft retail and leisure Park in Bromborough have been approved by Wirral council.
Universities Superannuation Scheme’s proposals include a smaller but upgraded cinema, a new restaurant and new bulky goods retail space. It will also help fund Bromborough Bowls’ move from the Croft to Bassendale Road.
Fergus Egan, Universities Superannuation Scheme’s retail and leisure portfolio manager, said: “This helps to secure the future of a bowling facility in Bromborough, as well as enabling us to provide an improved environment and range of goods and services to visitors to the Croft retail and leisure park.”
