JLL’s Johnson to join B8 Real Estate

Steven Johnson, director in Jones Lang LaSalle’s Manchester-based industrial team, is to join independent North West agency B8 Real Estate.

Johnson, who was formerly an employee of King Sturge, will join Warrington-based B8 as an equity partner.

B8 was formed last May by three former CBRE agents – Tom Davis, Howard George and Simon Wood. The trio formerly ran niche agent DGI Davis George, which was sold to CBRE in 2007.

David Lathwood (pictured), lead director, Jones Lang LaSalle North West, said: “We’d like to thank Steve for his contribution to the business, and wish him well for the future. His new role will no doubt reinforce the existing relationship between the two firms which I am sure will continue going forward.

“Jones Lang LaSalle has a large and long-established industrial and logistics presence in the region, with exceptional individuals working within the team. David Brooks will continue in the lead role for the North West team, and it is likely we will seek to promote and recruit from within the firm rather than making an external appointment. Our clients can continue to rely upon the best advice from a very experienced team.”
