A second tenant is close to going under offer at Land Securities’ and Canary Wharf Group’s Walkie Talkie tower at 20 Fenchurch Street, EC3.
Insurer Kiln Group is understood to be in advanced negotiations for around 60,000 sq ft on the lower floors of the building. It will pay more than £60 per sq ft.
Kiln follows insurer Markel, which last month became the first tenant to go under offer for around 80,000 sq ft at the 690,000 sq ft, 37-storey tower.
Newton Perkins advises Kiln Group; Knight Frank and CBRE are letting agents on the scheme.
