Montagu Evans’ central London partner, Stephen English, has resigned to join niche City firm Hanlon Bennett Consulting.
English leaves after just over six years at Montagu Evans where he was a partner in the City office agency team, specialising in tenant representation. He was previously at Gerald Eve for five years.
He joins GVA’s former head of City investment, Stephen Bennett, at Hanlon Bennett, which he set up in 2009.
Based at Newton Perkins’ 20 Eastcheap, EC3, offices, recent Hanlon Bennett deals include advising Arab Investments on the sale of 60 Gresham Street, EC2, to Standard Life Investments for around £45m.
