Selby development plans submitted

Manufacturing company BOCM Pauls has submitted an outline planning application for the redevelopment of around 150 acres of land close to Selby in North Yorkshire.

The animal feed manufacturer plans to create a development known as Olympia Park, featuring up to 1,000 homes and 30 acres of commercial space, including a supermarket, restaurant, primary school and community facilities.

Subject to planning consent, the site will be marketed to housebuilders.

Leeds-based consultancy Spawforths is advising on planning.
