Ridley to lead Savills UK

Savills Commercial chairman, Mark Ridley, is set to become head of the whole UK business next year.

From 1 January 2013 Ridley is to become chief executive of Savills UK, which will be the single holding company merging the agent’s two principal UK operating companies, Savills Land & Property and Savills Commercial.

At the same time current chief executive and chairman of Savills L&P, Rupert Sebag-Montefiore, will concentrate entirely on his recent appointment as head of Savills Global Residential.

Jeremy Helsby continues as group chief executive of the property services firm.

The move replicates the structure in Savills other global operations.
