Publisher the Economist Group has completed a deal to take 45,000 sq ft from Barclays Capital at 20 Cabot Square, E14.
Advised by Equipe Real Estate, the media company is to pay a rent in excess of £25 per sq ft on a lease thought to be 10 years.
Both parties declined to comment on the full terms of the deal.
The Economist is leaving Summit House in Red Lion Square, WC1 where it occupies around 45,000 sq ft with a February 2013 lease break.
Aviva Investors is marketing Summit House through Farebrother, quoting a guide price of £25.5m, with bids due in next week.
