Colliers International corporate solutions director Tim Asson has joined a growing list of high-profile figures to leave the company.
Asson has been poached by AOS Studley to be director of business development and transaction management in the company’s strategic property services team.
His departure follows that of Colliers’ head of retail Stuart La Frenais last week. Head of city offices Julie Rees was poached by start-up firm GN2 in May.
Founder Sir John Ritblat, co-director Colin Wagman and chief operating officer Gareth Jones all left after the company was acquired by majority shareholder FirstService for £13.8m in March.
Asson leaves Colliers after three years in charge of corporate solutions.
He was previously managing director of consultancy services at NB Real Estate and has more than 30 years’ experience in the industry.
AOS Studley managing director of strategic property services Andrew Burt said Asson’s appointment was part of the company’s growth strategy over the next two years.
“Tim has a solid track record of achieving results within the EMEA corporate services sector,” said Burt.
“His knowledge and experience will be hugely valuable to existing and prospective corporate clients.”
Asson said he was attracted to the role because he would be solely advising occupiers.
He added: “In this challenging environment, occupiers are increasingly demanding conflict-free advice to provide the best strategies, which AOS Studley is passionate about.”
