Kingston to join Topland Group

Sol and Eddie Zakay’s Topland Group has appointed a new co-managing director.

Mark Kingston is leaving his position as a senior real estate adviser in Royal Bank of Scotland’s global restructuring group working on real estate strategy for distressed loans to join the property investor.

He will work alongside Clive Bush as co-manager of the group, which has a portfolio comprising retail, office and leisure assets, as well as more recently moving into the provision of funding for residential development.

Kingston starts on 23 July.

Prior to his nine-month stint at RBS, Kingston was a director at Barclays Capital for two years, helping Barcap exit their distressed loan book.

He was managing director and head of UK for 10 years at Tishman Speyer, working on many of its UK deals, including Citypoint, Peterborough Court and Leadenhall Court and developments at Tower Place, Millbank Tower, Nexus Place and Centrium Aldwych.
