Asda has signed a deal with Bericote to develop a 700,000 sq ft shed at its Rhodia site in Avonmouth, Bristol.
The £60m development at the 60-acre site is Bericote’s third deal with Asda.
It is understood the shed will be used as a frozen facility for the retailer, replacing its 20-year-old shed in Portbury, Somerset.
Asda also has a 500,000 sq ft requirement in the North West and is being linked to Miller Developments’ Omega scheme in Warrington.
Dowley Turner Real Estate acted for Bericote; Colliers acted for Asda.
