Tom McFeely has been declared bankrupt in Ireland after arguments his main business activity was in the UK were rejected.
The property developer and former IRA hunger striker will have to wait up to 12 years before he is discharged of his debts. A decision to declare him bankrupt in England and Wales by a London court was rescinded after a challenge by one of his creditors.
