Jones Lang LaSalle has been appointed joint agent for the second phase of South West logistics hub Westgate alongside incumbent agents DTZ and Hartnell Taylor Cook.
Westgate, a joint venture between Harrow Estates and Robert Hitchens, is a 296-acre distribution park in Severnside, Bristol.
Phase one comprised more than 2m sq ft of distribution accommodation, including a 500,000 sq ft Tesco occupied warehouse.
A further 4m sq ft is available for development. Buildings from 50,000 sq ft to 1m sq ft are available at the site.
The site recently secured planning consent for a further 411,000 sq ft of distribution warehousing.
Harrow Estates and Robert Hitchins, together with landowner Central Park, have also applied for funding for a new motorway junction on the M49, which could further enhance the site’s appeal.
