Receivers appointed to Vico’s Docklands trophy

Vico Capital’s Docklands trophy 15 Westferry Circus, E14, is to come back to market following a default on a loan which matured earlier this year.


 

Savills has been appointed LPA Receivers of the 170,000 sq ft office building was transferred into special servicing by Morgan Stanley in April  ahead of a loan default at maturity.


 

Savills it would now formulate a marketing plan “with a view to bringing the property to the market in September”.


 

RREEF has previously been closely linked with a deal to buy the property.


 

Morgan Stanley signed a 35-year lease in November 2002, paying an annual rent of £8.2m.


 

It sublet the space to Tubelines on a 15-year lease in 2003.


 

Vico Capital bought 15 Westferry Circus from Canary Wharf Group for £134.7m in 2006.
