The bar and restaurant group behind City favourites The Anthologist and The Refinery has signed prelets at two Axa Real Estate developments.
Drake & Morgan will open venues totalling 20,000 sq ft at Sixty London, EC1, and 1 St Paul’s, EC4, in the first tenant deals at the speculative developments.
At Sixty London, the 210,000 sq ft office-led scheme on Holborn Viaduct, Drake & Morgan will open The Haberdashery, a deli, café, restaurant and bar trading over three floors. At 1 St Paul’s, it will open a two-level bar and restaurant, The Happenstance, alongside the 60,000 sq ft of offices and 10,000 sq ft of residential.
It will pay rents close to £80 per sq ft and has signed 25-year leases. Bruce Gillingham Pollard is advising Axa on the restaurant lettings; Lunson Mitchenall acted for Drake & Morgan.
