Innes England picks up Co-op job

Innes England has won a contract to handle asset management work for The Co-operative Group for more than 250 of its non-trading units across the Midlands.

The Derby office of the niche agency will take on full management duties and other responsibilities including rent collection, rent reviews and lease renewals, along with strategic work covering re-gears of leases and rent budgeting.

Innes England will be responsible for the non-trading units – vacant and sublet properties – across the group’s central and eastern region, which stretches from the West Midlands to North Nottinghamshire, across to the East Coast, south to the M25 and north-west along the M1 corridor.

The group operates 4,800 retail trading outlets and has an annual turnover of more than £13bn.
