Schuh takes Chester space

The Carlyle Group and Bride Hall have agreed a letting at Grosvenor shopping centre in Chester to Schuh.

The footwear retailer has agreed a new 10-year lease for a 5,400 sq ft store on Newgate Row. It will be the first standalone for Schuh in Chester and is due to open late this year.

Existing tenants at Grosvenor shopping centre include Jack & Jones, Jigsaw, Top Shop/Top Man, as well as Boodles, Footlocker, H&M, Hugo Boss, LK Bennett and River Island.

Savills and Tushingham Moore acted for Carlyle Group and Bride Hall; Schuh was represented by Hartnell Taylor Cook.
