Kier Property has been selected as preferred bidder on a £240m mixed-use scheme in Watford, Hertfordshire. I
t will redevelop the 65-acre site on the Cardiff Road industrial estate as a 375,000 sq ft scheme, including 650 homes, new hospital facilities and a 550-space car park.
Kier was selected by the Health Campus Partnership, which comprises Watford council, West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust and Watford Football Club.
Construction is scheduled to begin in January 2014, with phased completion by 2021.
