UK and Ireland mortgage service provider Acenden has appointed Deutsche Bank’s Alex Maddox as director for business origination and development.
At Deutsche Bank Maddox worked for the European residential trading business division. He was on the board of DB UK Bank and managed db-mortgages, which are both part of Deutsche Bank.
Previous to his time at Deutsche Bank, Maddox was head of European securitised products for hedge fund Citadel, and before that he worked for Lehman Brothers where he started as a derivatives trader and later became head of securitised products trading.
“Alex joins the company at a critical time as we experience increasing demand for our services from institutions in the investment and capital markets. Alex’s track record in building successful relationships with investment and commercial banks will be invaluable in his new role at Acenden as the company continues to expand its operations,” said Acenden CEO Amany Attia.
