Legal & General Property has unveiled its vision for the redevelopment of the former Nestlé tower in Croydon, south London.
The fund manager launched a public exhibition of its proposals this week. It plans to convert the 130,000 sq ft St George’s House tower, which had been home to confectionery giant Nestlé since 1965, into a £40m residential scheme comprising 288 flats.
L&G took over the 24-storey block in January as part of a deal to move Nestlé to its 1 City Place scheme in Crawley, West Sussex. CBRE is advising L&G.
