Beos special fund exceeds target

Berlin-based real estate firm Beos’s second special fund for mixed-use business property has already exceeded its target volume of €400m.

The Beos Corporate Real Estate Fund Germany II has raised €365m from 19 institutional investors in Germany since the beginning of the year. The fund has a planned leverage rate of 42.5%, which will bring the total investment sum up to €630m. Among the investors are insurance companies, pension funds, banks and trusts.

By the end of the year, Beos plans to acquire €200m of property. In the following weeks the company will close three deals for properties worth €110m in Cologne, Frankfurt and Hamburg. Further property acquisitions worth €95m are currently under negotiation.

Beos plans to invest the Corporate Real Estate Fund Germany II fund in the next two to three years and provide pay-outs of 6.75%.
