Partners try again in Northants

Housebuilders Bloor Homes and Persimmon Homes have submitted a revised planning application to develop 2,750 homes as part of the regeneration of Towcester Vale in Northamptonshire.

The developers decided to reduce the number of new homes by 250 after receiving feedback from a public consultation held last year.

The plan for Towcester Vale, first proposed in 2007, also includes new schools, retail space, a medical centre, community centre and hotel.

Persimmon is developing new homes in Northampton. The developer is building a selection of four- and five-bedroom properties at Oakley Vale in Corby.
