The GLA’s plan to return east London’s Royal Albert Dock, E16, to its former glory moved a step closer this week after a frontrunner was chosen to develop the 35-acre site.
As revealed by Estates Gazette, Stanhope and Advanced Business Parks are in pole position to develop the site in the Royal Docks.
ABP’s involvement in the 1.5m sq ft office scheme will be the developer’s first venture outside its native China.
Talks will now be held with the GLA over the jv’s masterplan. Drivers Jonas Deloitte is advising the GLA.
