French luxury handbag maker Longchamp is set to open a new store at 229-247 Regent Street, W1.
Longchamp is understood to have paid Quiksilver a premium of between £2m and £3m to take assignment of its lease. Longchamp will pay a circa £800,000 pa rent on the 5,500 sq ft store, which comprises ground and basement floors.
The landlord is the Crown Estate.
Longchamp’s Regent Street store will be in addition to those on Bond Street, W1, and Westfield London.
CBRE acted for Quiksilver; Lesley Perkins advised Longchamp.
