The GVA Midlands office staff gave new meaning to a property inspection when they threw themselves into a fundraising challenge – off the side of their building.
The team of 24 abseiled from the top of 3 Brindleyplace, Birmingham, raising £3,000 for Acorns Children’s Hospice.
Getting right into the spirit, one of the intrepid agents leapt the 100ft kitted out as a Telytubbie – a yellow Laa-Laa – which, no doubt, helped him blend in with the cityscape.
Acorns provides care and support to more than 630 children and 880 families, and while there is no charge to use the services, it costs £750 per child per day. Needless to say, they got right behind the team – from ground level anyway.
