It was a packed house as guests gathered last month at the swish Corinthian Club in Glasgow’s Merchant City. Around 100 people came along to have drinks, a bite to eat and swap gossip at the annual EG Focus Glasgow reception.
Ryden swept the board, winning three prizes – including the most active local agent in the EGi deals competition. Ryden’s Ewan Cameron also picked up a limited edition bottle of Moet & Chandon champagne in the business card draw.
An air of cautious optimism pervaded the room as talk turned to Q4 and what it may bring. With a number of investment opportunities hitting the market that week, including the sale of BP’s Aberdeen HQ and Glasgow’s 100 Bothwell Street, there may be a few more corks popping before Christmas.
