Most of Ultralase’s 30 locations will close following laser eye surgery rival Optimax’s acquisition of the business.
Fourteen Ultralase clinics will be retained. Optimax plans to open 50 new “consultation centres” which are smaller and less expensive that full-scale clinics. They will open over the next six months.
