Hamburg-based developer Köhler & von Bargen has acquired a site in the city together with fund manager Picom.
Electronics company Sharp, which occupies space in an office building on the site, sold the asset in a sale-and-leaseback deal. The purchase price has not been disclosed.
Köhler & von Bargen will develop a new office building on the acquired 33,000 m2 site, which will be leased to Sharp.
The developer is also planning to build a 700-apartment residential and commercial scheme on the same site.
