Nabarro completes on Alban Gate HQ

Law firm Nabarro has signed a lease for 133,000 sq ft at Alban Gate, EC2.


The firm will pay £45 per sq ft on a sub-lease from JP Morgan.


Talks have been ongoing for a year after Nabarro launched a requirement in late 2010.


It occupies 118,000 sq ft at 84 Theobald’s Road, WC1, on a lease that expires in 2014.


Nabarro had previously considered prelet options, including Land Securities’ 30 Old Bailey, EC4 and 60 Ludgate Hill, EC4, and Hammerson’s Principal Place, EC2.


Alban Gate forms part of the 1m sq ft of excess City office space which JP Morgan appointed Cushman & Wakefield and DTZ to dispose of in summer 2011. In addition to the 382,000 sq ft Alban Gate at 125 London Wall, JP Morgan also occupies 324,000 sq ft at 10 Aldermanbury, 154,000 sq ft at 20 Moorgate and 147,000 sq ft at Finsbury Dials, all EC2.


CBRE advises Nabarro, DTZ and Cushman and Wakefield advised JP Morgan.
