Beko completes Watford office buy

Home appliances manufacturer Beko has completed its purchase of Croxley Gateway in Watford, Hertfordshire, for its own occupation.

The company bought the 27,500 sq ft office building for £2.8m. It will be refurbished and turned into Beko’s HQ and a showroom.

The asset at Croxley Green business park has been vacant for more than 10 years.

Beko will relocate from Beko House, also in Watford. It is slightly expanding.

Paul Wise, head of commercial at De Villiers, which represented Beko, said: “Croxley Gateway will fulfil Beko’s requirements for showcasing their products and providing extra space for recruitment over the coming year.”

Stimpsons and Knight Frank represented the vendor Threadneedle.
