The doctor makes a West Country call

The GP, comedian and TV celeb Dr Phil Hammond wasn’t shy about making jokes and observations about bedroom matters as guest speaker at the Bristol Property Agents Association annual dinner last week.


He also wasn’t shy about commenting on the absence of Bristol’s first elected mayor, George Ferguson, who had ducked out of proceedings shortly after enjoying dinner at the top table and therefore didn’t get to hear outgoing BPAA president Doug Wood’s kind words about him in his final address. Oops.


It was the only hiccup up in a lively evening that also saw Savills’ Andrew Main take over as president of the BPAA.
