Central and eastern Europe-focused developer TriGranit Group has agreed with Slovenian partner ERA Holding to develop a major new city centre retail centre in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia.
ERA Group’s is planning ERA City, a shopping and entertainment centre with offices and a hotel.
Török Árpád, CEO of TriGranit Development Corporation, said: “Our company has extensive experience in the development of new city centres. WestEnd City Center in Budapest, Bonarka in Krakow, and Poznan City Center, which is opening this year, are all examples.
“We also developed Arena Centar, the largest shopping and entertainment centre in Zagreb, and Arena Zagreb, the adjacent multifunctional sports arena, both of which resemble the current project of ERA Group in Skopje. As the development consultant for ERA Group, we are able to capitalise on the experience we have acquired to date in the Republic of Macedonia, a new market for us,” said Árpád.
TriGranit Management Corporation will also be involved in the management of the Skopje International Fairs and Exhibitions Centre as well as the adjacent multi-purpose event hall.

By signing this agreement, TriGranit Management Corporation has further strengthened its presence in the Balkans.”
The agreement covers the provision of real estate development, property management and leasing services.
TriGranit Group is now present in 10 countries.
