Hammerson is to transform Elliott’s Field retail park in Rugby, Warwickshire, into a circa 230,000 sq ft Debenhams-anchored scheme.
The REIT has submitted plans to redevelop the 136,700 sq ft park, which it bought as part of a £208m retail portfolio from St Martin’s Property in 2011.
Proposals for the £35m project include a 60,300 sq ft Debenhams, a 170,000 sq ft retail terrace, and leisure space.
Wilkinson Williams and Savills have been appointed letting agents on the scheme.
