Ferrari leaves Heron team

Heron International managing director Peter Ferrari has announced plans to step down and set up his own company.

Ferrari departs Gerald Ronson’s propco 18 years after joining as director of acquisition and development.

He will leave at the end of March to start a new company with the backing of private investors.

Among his achievements at Heron International was overseeing the development of the City’s tallest current tower.

Heron International chief executive Gerald Ronson said: “On behalf of the whole team at Heron, I would like to thank Peter for the excellent contribution he has made over the past 18 years. Peter has played a major role in some of the most significant projects in the history of the company.”

Ferrari added: “After 18 enjoyable and rewarding years at Heron, I am very excited to be embarking on a new challenge of setting up a property business, backed by private investors. During my time at Heron, I have been privileged to work alongside some of the most talented individuals in the industry.”
