MEPC has appointed Jamie Cumming as commercial director at Hillington Park in Glasgow, Scotland’s largest business park.
Cumming joins after four years as a director at Glasgow-based Airlink Group, where he was responsible for managing acquisitions and disposals as well as property management. Prior to this, he spent more than three years at CBRE in Glasgow.
Cumming will also be responsible for MEPC’s commercial interests at the 430,000 sq ft, 36-acre Clyde Gateway project in the East End of Glasgow.
At the 2m sq ft Hillington Park, Cumming will oversee MEPC’s Project Hillington plans, which include a new masterplan and development of the office and industrial park’s investment and infrastructure plans for the next 20 years. He will work with Hillington Park’s stakeholders including Renfrewshire council, Glasgow city council, Glasgow Airport, Braehead Shopping Centre and the new Southern General Hospital.

Hillington Park is home to over 300 companies. Tenants include Balfour Beatty, BAA, NHS, Red Cross and BMI Healthcare. It is also home to the award-winning Hillington Park Innovation Centre.
MEPC manages a £660m portfolio, comprising seven business parks across the UK, which total more than 7m sq ft.
