Plans to create a “floating village” at London’s Royal Victoria Dock, E16, were unveiled by London mayor Boris Johnson at MIPIM this week.
The mayor wants to see 15 acres of water transformed into a mixed-use community comprising homes, hotels, restaurants and bars, plus a new Crossrail station, DLR and cable car linking it with Canary Wharf and central London.
A formal procurement process will begin this summer.
