M3 Capital Partners and Extra MSA Group have completed the circa £300m acquisition of nine motorway service area assets from Serena Properties.
The portfolio consists of nine freehold assets operated by Welcome Break, including M40 Oxford, M3 Fleet, M42 Hopwood and M62 Hartshead Moor, and were previously owned by Robert Tchenguiz.
Extra chief executive Andrew Long: “This is a natural and complimentary extension to our existing MSA investment portfolio. Doubling Extra’s investment ownership on strategic motorways in the UK is an exciting proposition. We look forward to continuing to work in partnership with our selected tenants to optimise the provision of good quality facilities for all road users on the motorway network.”
GVA advised.
