Braemar Estates has increased its assets under management to £1bn following its £4m takeover by wealth management group Brooks Macdonald in 2010.
The property manager has secured a number of high-profile appointments in recent months and its portfolio now includes Cathedral Group’s Clapham One, SW4, Grosvenor’s One Park West in Liverpool and the high-rise Beetham Towers in Manchester and Birmingham.
The company manages a total of 63 residential blocks across the UK containing 4,625 homes, as well as acting as ground rent collection agent for a further 5,021 homes.
Braemar Estates investment director James Agar said: “We are delighted that we have reached this milestone which puts Braemar Estates among the ranks of the pre-eminent residential property managers in the country and underlines the strong period of growth which we have seen over the past few years.
“Over the next few years we expect the business to continue to grow rapidly thanks to our professional relationships, and particularly our role as property and investment adviser to Ground Rents Income Fund, a listed real estate investment trust, launched in 2012.”
