Stobart chief executive Andrew Tinkler and Trevor Howarth, legal director, have been committed for contempt of court.
They said they would appeal the High Court decision involving Tinkler’s business, WA Developments International (WADI) and Peter Elliott a former aviation advisor for WADI. The case, regarding statements made by Tinkler and Howarth during the course of a long-running dispute with Elliott, will be heard through the civil courts. Tinkler and Howarth said they expected to be exonerated “in the fullness of time”.
