Invesco Real Estate has hired John German to drive forward its residential activities in Europe.
German, who has been appointed director of residential investments, will lead Invesco Real Estate’s expansion into the sector.
He will be based at the global real estate firm’s offices at 43-45 Portman Square, W1, working with the fund management, asset management and research teams.
German left his role as head of residential fund management at Grosvenor last December. He has also previously worked as residential fund manager at Aberdeen Property Investors, and was a partner at Cluttons.
Invesco Real Estate manages $50.6bn (£33.1bn) of assets, including commercial real estate and residential in the US and Asia Pacific, and hotels in Europe.
