Dukelease marches into West End

London developer Dukelease has bought Eggington House, SW1, for a luxury residential conversion.


It paid £22m to SWIP for the 28,700 sq ft 25-28 Buckingham Gate office building, which has a capital value of £770 per sq ft.


In February 2014, there will be vacant possession and Dukelease is drawing up plans to develop flats.


The building joins Dukelease’s vast West End portfolio, including 61-67 Oxford Street and 11-14 Soho Street, both W1, where there is consent for a mixed-use scheme comprising 33,858 sq ft of shops, 13,563 sq ft of offices and six flats.
